Testimonials from our Customers: I was very pleased with my dealings with Beams & Timber Direct Ltd when purchasing my BTD Interlock Fence. In addition to being helpful and delivering on time, I was most impressed with the machining on the posts and rails and at the ease of how the fence was assembled. I am a joiner by trade and had not expected the quality of workmanship to be so high. The fence runs in front of my property where I have a sea view and I think the fence really sets off the view. I have no hesitation in recommending both the company and the fence to anyone looking at purchasing this very attractive fence option. Roger Duncan Kawakawa Bay I have put up several fences in the Franklin District and have had only good comments from all my jobs. The fence really sets off the properties and sweeping curves can be easily achieved to give a good clean line and a smart first impression. I put up a lot of boundary fences and like the fact that the fence looks good from both sides – there is no problem with who has the rails on their side - makes for good neighbourly relations. The quality of the timber is excellent as is the workmanship. Beams & Timber Direct Ltd are great to deal with in all aspects. Richard McKenzie – Fencing Contractor My partner and I erected a BTD Interlock Fence along the front of our avocado orchard in the Bay of Plenty. We were looking for something a bit different to the standard post and rail fence and liked the look of this fence. We were told that a handy man could erect the fence and with a measure of scepticism we began. We were pleasantly surprised at how easy the fence was to put up and now have a very attractive fence along our boundary and a good dose of self esteem and satisfaction from doing the job ourselves. With us erecting the fence, it didn’t end up being much more expensive than a conventional post & rail fence and yet we have ended up with a much more appealing fence. Della Woods Bay of Plenty We chose the BTD fence because it looked well balanced, with the vertical and horizontal components of similar visual impact. The central rail means that there was no inside or outside, and the locking slots give good strength and stability. BTD were very helpful and flexible in answering questions, working out quantities and arranging deliveries to suit us. We wanted a fence that would follow the curves of the driveway and the rise and fall of the landscape, without difficult fitting, and still look good. The precut components were all consistent dimensions, but had enough room for easy fitting even with changing slopes and curves (though it did take some practice, and the occasional trimming, to get the right effect). Two people, with some fencing experience and suitable tools, were able to complete over a hundred metres of fence during summer weekends without serious arguments! We are well satisfied with the result and have had some very positive comments from visitors and neighbours. We think the fence suits our hobby farm and should be an asset for many years. Horowhenua customers Julie, just thought you might like to see how we’re getting on with our fence (it’s actually quite straight, but the photo makes it seem curved). We’ve used up the material we ordered, and we’re enormously chuffed with the result. So too is our fencer, so much so that he’s asked if he can hang up his sign on it so the rest of the world can see. Mind you, he was a bit grumpy about the weight of the 300x300 posts, but these look absolutely brilliant. The terrain was fairly challenging, and we did a bit of rearranging; even so we have a few ups and a big down and an S-bend. We’re all so pleased with it, we think we’ll extend it by about 20m, but I have to get exact measurements before we order up any more. In the meantime, it would help to know if 2 more big posts could be found at 2.4m? Thanks again for your help and for a great product. J Salmond, Gisborne BACK |
