At Beams & Timber Direct Ltd, we take pride in being a 100% Kiwi-owned and operated business with over a century of combined experience in the timber industry. Our team’s dedication and expertise are the foundation of our success, enabling us to deliver high-quality products that New Zealanders can rely on.
Our journey began in 1993, when our founders, Julie and Graeme, purchased their first sawmill and established our company in Tuakau. Graeme, with his background in fencing, saw an opportunity to innovate in the post and rail fencing market. Through years of hard work, creativity, and investment in state-of-the-art processing equipment, he developed the INTERLOCK® kitset fence system—a product that has become synonymous with quality and durability in New Zealand.
Since our debut at the 2004 Fieldays®, our INTERLOCK® brand has gained a reputation for excellence. We offer a variety of post and rail fencing options that are not only functional but also aesthetically pleasing. Whether for urban residential areas, lifestyle blocks or a subdivisions to name just a few applications, our fences and gates are designed to meet the diverse needs of our customers.
In addition to our fencing products, we also manufacture timber bollards, available in a range of profiles and customizable with various features. These products are crafted with the same attention to detail and commitment to quality that define our brand.
In August 2019, Beams & Timber welcomed new ownership under Peter Till, who continues to uphold our tradition of excellence. We are passionate about providing products that are 100% Kiwi-grown and environmentally sustainable, ensuring that our customers receive the best in both quality and service.
